ESI Corporate Update
Victoria, British Columbia August 5, 2010 – E.S.I. Environmental Sensors Inc. (ESI), TSX-V: ESV is pleased to announce that the British Columbia Securities Commission ("BCSC") and the Alberta Securities Commission ("ASC") have lifted their respective Cease Trade Orders (CTOs) and cleared the Company to resume trading.
The BCSC and ASC issued the CTOs on October 6, 2009 and January 7, 2010 respectively due to ESI's unfiled annual and interim financial statements (the "required filings"). The Company has now completed all required filings. The BCSC and the ASC issued Revocation Orders on August 3rd and August 4th, 2010, respectively. The Company has now applied to the TSX Venture Exchange for resumption of trading.
In addition, the Company is pleased to announce that Edwin William Mitchell has been re-appointed to the Board of Directors for the Company. Mr. Mitchell will also act as Chief Financial Officer until such time as the Company hires a full time CFO. Mr. Mitchell previously served as a director of the Company for a two year period ending in April 2009.
